We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Storeperson with a strong focus on customer service to join our team at the Mitchell ACT branch.

Hours of Work – Rotating Fortnightly Split Shifts

Week 1:
Monday to Friday: 6am – 2pm (40-minute lunch break)

Week 2:
Monday to Friday: 11am – 7pm (40-minute lunch break)

Job Description

Efficiently move goods within and outside the warehouse environment, ensuring accurate documentation, labeling, palletisation, and presentation of products. Responsible for the movement and storage of products, including unloading and loading trucks while monitoring key performance indicators such as movements, damage, and DIFOT (Delivery in Full on Time). Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse and equipment to a standard daily.

Ensure adherence to all procedures regarding inventory and consistently follow OH&S procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receiving:
  • Unload trucks, check product codes and quantities against P.O's
  • Put stock neatly in racks and record relevant rack locations for GIR clerk
• Dispatch:
  • Load trucks for deliveries, check all paperwork, product codes, and condition of goods to ensure correct quantities
  • Drive truck or Ute (when licensed) for deliveries as required, complete run sheets, and obtain customer signatures/names upon delivery. Complete all necessary paperwork
• Stock Take: Preparation as required and requested
• Warehouse Sale: Preparation as required and requested
• Facilitate Customer Pick-Ups
• Stock Control: Assist Stock Control staff with Returns and conduct cyclic stock checks when required
• Any ad hoc duties as required, including using your skill set within another division/department
• Current Forklift, Drivers, and Pickers License (preferred)
• LF and LO license (preferred)
