Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced, skilled, passionate and customer service focused Tech Expert to work in a full time, permanent position, 38 hours per week to deliver Great Service, Always! This role is based at our Flagship location, 250 Parramatta Road, Auburn NSW.

Harvey Norman is an Australian Retail icon in consumer technology, providing hardware, software, and technical support solutions to individual and business customers.

You will lead our in-store technical team - providing hands-on technical support, repairs, and troubleshooting services for a range of computer systems, hardware, and software in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

·  Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software faults for desktops, laptops, tablets, and peripheral devices
·  Install, configure, and maintain computer and mobile set ups, software applications, and upgrade components
·  Assist customers with technical inquiries both in-person and via phone/email
·  Conduct data recovery, virus removal, and system upgrades
·  Maintain accurate service records and documentation
·  Liaise with suppliers and vendors for parts and warranty claims
·  Ensure all work complies with company and industry standards

To be successful you must:

·  Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills across a range of operating systems (Windows, macOS, etc.)
·  Experience with hardware replacement, system builds, and software installation
·  Excellent communication and customer service skills
·  Ability to work independently and in a team in a customer-facing environment
·  Experience in (or ability to work in) a customer focused, successful retail business
·  A high level of Technology and Entertainment product knowledge to support customer queries
·  Technical knowledge of related peripherals such as digital cameras, printers, networking and Software programs
·  Going above and beyond to provide exceptional customer focused problem solving
·  Flexibility across retail trading hours including weekends, public holidays and late night trades
