Job Description
We are seeking a Solar Operations and Scheduling Coordinator to support the growing demand within our renewable energy division.
The successful candidate will represent Harvey Norman Commercial with exceptional customer service and communication skills. As a key member of the solar delivery team, you will manage project workflows, liaise with customers and installers, and ensure the smooth coordination of high‑quality solar installations.
This role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and a clear communication with customers, installers, suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Confirming customer order details, system specifications, and site information prior to scheduling
- Coordinate installations schedule with installers, site supervisors and internal teams
- Liaise with site supervisors and confirm delivery dates
- Arrange product deliveries to site or warehouse as per installation requirements
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate job records in Simpro
- Coordinate all pre-installation approvals, including grid connection applications and distributor requirements
- Arrange all pre-installation approvals including grid applications
- Track approval status and proactively resolve delays or issues
- Prepare and submit STC claims accurately and within required timeframes
- Verify system eligibility, documentation completeness, and installer accreditation
- Ensure all project documentation is completed, stored, and compliant with company and regulatory requirements
- Issue warranty documentation, maintenance manuals, and handover packs to customers
- Help customers in placing Service Calls
- Act as a key point of contact for customers throughout the installation process
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide clear updates on project status
- Assist customers with service calls, warranty matters, and post-installation support
- Liaise with installers, suppliers, and internal departments to resolve issues efficiently
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of residential solar and battery products

- Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in resolving operational issues

- Advanced Communication skills – both written and verbal
- Intermediate computer skills and confidence using job management systems

- Handle multiple duties simultaneously and exhibit initiative
