We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and driven Audio Visual Sales Representative.

Role Overview

The Commercial Audio-Visual Sales Representative is responsible for establishing, developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing commercial customers, with a key focus on Hospitality, Build‑to‑Rent, Student Accommodation and Aged Care sectors.

The role represents the Harvey Norman Commercial Smart Technologies Division across NSW/ACT, specialising in Hotel TV solutions, Digital Signage, Large‑format LED displays and Background Music systems, supported by strong customer service, project engagement and consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement plans to grow the Harvey Norman Commercial Smart Tech Audio Visual business across NSW, in collaboration with the Smart Technologies Manager.
  • Strategically identify and develop new business opportunities within Hospitality, Build‑to‑Rent, Student Accommodation and Aged Care, including hotels, venues, operators, developers, consultants and facility managers.
  • Actively seek and convert sales opportunities for the Harvey Norman Commercial Smart Technologies, focusing on:
    • Hotel and commercial TV solutions
    • Commercial digital signage networks
    • Large‑format LED and display walls
    • Background music and commercial audio systems
  • Establish and maintain regular contact with new and existing clients to maximise sales, margin and long‑term account value, while increasing market share in the Commercial AV space.
  • Work closely with internal teams including project management, installation partners and supply chain to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Identify cross‑sell and referral opportunities and communicate potential leads to other Harvey Norman Commercial divisions.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key commercial clients, consultants, builders, operators and industry partners.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly sales activity and pipeline reports to the Smart Technologies Manager and Commercial Sales Manager.
  • Participate in training and product education to remain current with Commercial AV technologies, industry trends and supplier offerings.
  • Attend and actively participate in team meetings and planning sessions.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong sales, negotiation and presentation skills, ideally within Commercial AV, technology, hospitality or related industries.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with commercial decision‑makers.
  • Ability to manage leads, quotations and customer information accurately.
  • Strong data entry and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment while also operating independently.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internal business systems.
  • Strong team commitment and alignment with company values.
  • High standard of personal and professional presentation.
